Christmas on Division Street

8:58 AM mixagrip

Even though it is months before Christmas, I decided to write about this heartwarming movie starring Fred Savage and the late, Hume Cronyn ... because it will be airing on the Gospel Music Channel, August 5th at 2 PM.

It is such a touching, moving story. I don't think it is good for small children, however those over 12 years old, would understand and learn compassion from the boy (played by Savage) who helps a homeless man (Cronyn), inspite of others discouraging his kindness.

It was once available on Video (Vhs), but I don't believe it is available on DVD, yet.

Based on a true story, this isn't a story at all... but reality for many people in our world today. The film reminds us all at Christmastime and all year long... how it is more important to give than receive and to appreciate what we do have!

I hope many of you will have a chance to watch it.

God bless,

I so hope they will bring their Movies back at Christmastime... I so enjoy all of their Christmas Movies- such as, A Boyfriend for Christmas, Single Santa, Meet the Santas, The Note, etc....

Well, that's all the info I have for today!

Stay Tuned........

God Bless America!

8:12 AM mixagrip

I hope you all had a very nice 4th of July weekend. Isn't it wonderful to have this occasion to honor our country and all who have fought for our freedom.

I had such a nice time watching a Fireworks Display with my family... and listening to patriotic songs play along with the show.

My favorite American Patriotic Songs:

God Bless America
The Star Spangled Banner
America, the Beautiful
God Bless the USA
My Country Tis of Thee

and much, much more!

Every year, like millions of Americans, I wear a flag tee or red, white, and blue something. This year I wore this great comfy tank top - that featured an America Flag and said God Bless America...

I thought it would be perfect for a hot Summer 4th of July day. Wouldn't you know it... our day was rainy, damp, and cool all day. It was so chilly, I had to wear a hoodie, too!

This was the Most Popular
American Flag T-shirt -
it features a Soldier Saluting the Flag.
Underneath it reads God Bless America.
